Founder & President
B.Sc., D.C., Chiropractor
Dr. San Bui is licensed to practice in both the Province of Ontario and the State of Michigan. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario in 1993, followed by his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Honours from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He also completed a Physiotherapy Certification at Brenau University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Bui is the Founder and President of Pain Rehabilitation Clinic Inc., where he has built a multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive patient care. He has extensive expertise in American Medical Association (AMA) disability rating evaluations, supporting the accurate assessment of injury-related impairments.
Since 1995, Dr. Bui has treated over 20,000 patients with personal injury conditions, including those related to motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, and workplace injuries. His clinic focuses on providing coordinated care through a team of healthcare professionals working together to support each patient’s recovery and rehabilitation.
In addition to clinical care, Dr. Bui plays an active role in advocating for patients involved in disability and personal injury claims. He is frequently involved in medical-legal evaluations and expert testimony, providing detailed documentation and professional opinions in arbitration proceedings.
Dr. Bui is known for his compassionate and patient-focused approach, remaining closely involved in each case from initial assessment through recovery. His commitment to clinical excellence and patient advocacy has contributed to the successful management of many complex injury cases.
Orthopedic Examiner

Dr. Luke Bui earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed his residency in General Surgery at McMaster University. He is currently on staff at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, where he serves as President of the Medical Staff Association, sits on the Board of Directors, and participates on multiple hospital committees.
A Minimally Invasive Surgeon, Dr. Bui’s clinical interests include stomach and colorectal cancer, laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery, and the medical and surgical management of obesity. He has published research in Canadian Family Physician, HPB Surgery, and The Journal of Surgical Oncology.
He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University and is actively involved in training medical students, residents, and fellows.
Dr. Bui is a member of the Ontario Medical Association, Canadian Medical Association, Canadian Association of General Surgeons, Ontario Association of General Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, and the Canadian Association of Bariatric Physicians & Surgeons. He is also co-founder of the Thornhill Endoscopy Centre (est. 1995), a state-of-the-art gastrointestinal endoscopy and anorectal surgery clinic.
Staff Neurologist – Clinician Teacher
M.D., F.R.C.P.C., Neurologist
Dr. Esther Bui is a Staff Neurologist and Clinician Teacher at Toronto Western Hospital and a Lecturer at the University of Toronto. She is an active member of the Epilepsy Surgery Program at the Krembil Neuroscience Centre.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University, followed by her M.D. and Neurology residency at the University of Toronto. She later completed a fellowship in Epilepsy and Electroencephalography at the Krembil Neuroscience Centre.
Dr. Bui is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a certified member of the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, where she serves on the executive board.
Her clinical and research interests focus on epilepsy care, particularly in young adults and women of childbearing age, including epilepsy in pregnancy. She also manages post-stroke, post-traumatic, and brain tumour–related epilepsy. She is a strong advocate for patient-centred neurological care.
As an educator, Dr. Bui teaches learners at all levels and contributes to curriculum development and technology-enhanced epilepsy education. She is actively involved in advancing collaborative epilepsy initiatives and city-wide EEG rounds.
Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine

Mark Bui earned his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. He later completed the five-year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr.TCM) program at Beijing Capital Medical University–Canada, focusing on acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for pain management.
With over two decades of clinical experience, Mark has worked within multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings since 2003. His approach integrates traditional acupuncture principles with modern pain rehabilitation strategies.
He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions and works collaboratively with physicians, chiropractors, physiotherapists, and other rehabilitation professionals to support patient recovery.
Mark is recognized for his patient-focused approach and has received industry awards for excellence in care.
Physiatrist – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Dr. Melody Nguyen completed her Doctor of Medicine and residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and an appointed Physiatrist in the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
She specializes in musculoskeletal conditions, spasticity, and chronic pain.
Physiatry focuses on restoring functional ability in patients whose mobility or daily activities have been impaired by injury or illness. Dr. Melody Nguyen treats conditions including arthritis, musculoskeletal disorders, stroke, neuromuscular conditions, peripheral vascular disease, and cerebral palsy.
Her approach emphasizes comprehensive assessment, patient-centred care, and maximizing functional recovery to help patients safely return to daily activities and participation in society.
Registered Physiotherapist
Mohit Rastogi is a registered physiotherapist dedicated to delivering patient-centered, evidence-informed care. He earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and completed a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Durham College.
Mohit provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He has experience managing workplace injuries, motor vehicle accident (MVA) injuries, sports-related injuries, and general orthopedic conditions affecting the body from head to toe.
With advanced training in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), Mulligan Concept Mobilization with Movement (MWM), and Vestibular Rehabilitation, Mohit utilizes specialized techniques to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. His approach emphasizes individualized goal setting, early functional restoration, and preventing long-term disability.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, Mohit ensures coordinated care tailored to each patient’s specific needs. He believes that no two conditions present the same way and takes the time to listen carefully, educate patients, and provide clear guidance throughout the rehabilitation process. His focus remains on restoring independence, optimizing function, and supporting safe return to work and daily activities.
Registered Massage Therapist
Nenad Vrbic is a Registered Massage Therapist dedicated to providing patient-centered, therapeutic care focused on pain relief, mobility, and functional recovery. He works closely with patients to understand their specific concerns and tailors each treatment session to their individual needs.
His clinical focus includes treatment of muscle tension, chronic pain, sports-related injuries, workplace injuries, and motor vehicle accident (MVA) injuries. Nenad utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques to reduce pain, improve circulation, and support tissue healing.
With a strong emphasis on communication and patient comfort, he ensures that treatment plans align with each patient’s goals — whether that is returning to work, resuming athletic activity, or improving daily function.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, Nenad collaborates with other healthcare providers to support coordinated, comprehensive care and long-term recovery.
Medical Consultant
Dr. Sherman Li completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Queen’s University and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner through the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and holds certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Li focuses on independent medical evaluations, with particular expertise in the assessment of accident-related and sports injuries. His work involves providing thorough, objective medical assessments to support injury evaluation, treatment planning, and medico-legal decision making.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Li serves as a Medical Consultant with Medcan Health Management Inc., where he contributes his expertise in medical assessments and health management. His approach emphasizes evidence-based evaluation, detailed clinical assessment, and clear medical reporting to support optimal outcomes for patients.
Registered Physiotherapist
Sheila Iaboni is a registered physiotherapist dedicated to helping patients recover from injury, manage pain, and restore functional movement. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Philippines and later completed the Canadian Physiotherapy Bridging Program at the University of Toronto, including clinical training at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Sheila provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck and back pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, motor vehicle accident (MVA) injuries, and workplace injuries. Her treatment approach combines hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to address the root cause of pain and support long-term recovery.
With additional training in manual therapy, acupuncture and dry needling, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, kinesiotaping, and electrotherapy, Sheila integrates evidence-based techniques to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
As a registered member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Sheila is committed to patient-centered care and collaborative rehabilitation. Working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, she focuses on helping patients regain mobility, restore function, and safely return to their daily activities, work, and recreational pursuits.
Naturopathic Doctor & Registered Acupuncturist
Dr. Linda Koo is a Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Acupuncturist dedicated to providing personalized, preventative, and non-invasive care. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and later completed her Diploma of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), one of Canada’s leading institutions for naturopathic medical education.
Dr. Koo focuses on helping patients address underlying health concerns while supporting recovery and long-term wellness. Her clinical interests include acupuncture therapy, injury management, and health conditions commonly affecting patients from midlife through older adulthood. She integrates naturopathic principles with acupuncture to support the body’s natural healing processes and improve overall function.
Her approach emphasizes non-invasive treatment strategies, preventative care, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique health needs. By taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and health goals, Dr. Koo works to develop practical treatment plans that support recovery, improve quality of life, and promote long-term health.

Grace On serves as the Administration Lead for Pain Rehabilitation Clinic, overseeing administrative operations across the clinic’s four locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. With over six years of experience in medical administration, clinic operations, and patient services, she plays a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of both front-desk and back-office functions.
Grace holds a Honours Business Administration and Finance background from Sheridan College, bringing strong organizational and operational expertise to her role. She is committed to balancing the technical aspects of clinic management with a genuine passion for patient care, ensuring that every patient interaction is handled with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
She takes pride in the interpersonal side of her work, building meaningful connections with patients and advocating for their needs throughout their care experience. By maintaining efficient administrative systems and clear communication, Grace helps create a welcoming and seamless environment for patients across all clinic locations.
